Salisbury Steak
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp minced onion
- 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 12 oz cream of mushroom soup 1 can
- 6 oz water 1/2 can
Instructions
- Combine ground beef with cream of mushroom soup and shape into oval patties about 1 inch thick.
- Brown on both sides in a little oil. Combine soup and water and pour over meat.
- Cook slowly in covered skillet 25 minutes. You can put potatoes around the meat as well. Soup and meat juices will make gravy.
