Beef Fillets Supreme

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp lemon pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground cardamon
  • 6 tenderloin steaks 1 inch thick, 4 oz each
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 8 small mushrooms thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp green onions sliced
  • 2 tbsp white wine
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp dijon style mustard

Instructions

  • Combine pepper, cardamon and sprinkle over steaks. Heat in butter in heavy skillet. Add steaks and panfry 7-8 minutes.
  • Remove steaks to heated platter. Add mushrooms and onions and stir fry 2-3 minutes. Stir in wine, soy sauce and mustard, scraping up brown bits sticking to the skillet.
  • Pour sauce over steaks.
